Molecular Weight : 1051.49 Molecular Formula : C68H105Cl2N3O Description CM-DiI is a Thiol-Reactive Fluorescent Probe and somewhat more water-soluble than DiI, therefore facilitating the preparation of staining solutions for cell suspensions and fixed cells. CM-DiI contains a thiol-reactive moitey such as chloromethyl which can bind covalently to cellular thiols. Unlike other membrane stains, the labeled molecule is well retained in some cells throughout fixation and permeabilization steps. Storage Condition -20°C For Research Use Only.
